Call For Papers – Fast Abstracts

Goal

The goal of the Fast Abstract track is to bring together researchers and practitioners working in SRE to discuss current work, ongoing experiences, as well as positions on key topics and open issues.

A fast abstract is a two-page article to introduce early original ideas targeting open problems in both research and industry, discuss new research trends in SRE, state positions on controversial issues, or  report on relevant ongoing experiences and open challenges of SRE in industry. The main goal is to have experienced researchers and practitioners present their ideas and positions, and have a discussion with the ISSRE participants.

Accepted contributions will be published in the Supplemental Proceedings of the 29th IEEE International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering and uploaded to IEEE Xplore.

Presentations

Each presentation is 5-minute long, limited to 10 slides, and followed by a 15-minute discussion (Q&A) with the participants. The presentation should be a crisp introduction to the topic and the presenter’s expert perspectives on it. We want to put emphasis on the interaction with the audience, in order to seed new ideas and allow for relevant discussion and community feedback. The time limit will be strictly enforced.
